before the Berlin Fashion Week came to a devastating END, there were a lot of great opportunities for the young and talented german designers, such as the DESIGNER FOR TOMORROW-award. in 2017 Designer for Tomorrow had their last show, where LARA KRUDE won the prestigious award. 2018 her Designs were finally available in one of the biggest german retail houses.
I had the honor to be a part of sharing her lovely first collection (maybe you remember?). now one year later I am very happy to be able to work with her and her newest SS19 collection. what is of great importance for her collections is that all her garments are manufactured in Germany, which brings former seamstresses the opportunity to return to their jobs. she only works with natural fibers and pays a lot of attention to traditional companies.
my favorite to pieces out of her newest collection is her linen HAZEL COAT with the matching MABEL PANTS. it will definitely be a lifetime keeper.
